Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging CodeRift Agency services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or services.
Services
CodeRift Agency provides consulting, automation, website, and content-related services. Specific project scope, timelines, and fees are defined in separate client agreements.
Payments and Refunds
Payment terms are outlined in your signed agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, completed work and time spent are non-refundable.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, feedback, approvals, and required access credentials in a timely manner to avoid delivery delays.
Studio Library Media Retention
Content you generate or save in CodeRift Studio (Library posts, gallery images, and videos) is retained for about one year from the date it was created. Editing or regenerating an item does not restart that clock. Near the end of that year we may show an expiry notice so you can download anything you want to keep. After retention ends, we may permanently delete the item and associated media files from our systems. You are responsible for downloading and backing up content you need. Soft-deleted items in Trash follow a shorter window (about 30 days on free plans and 60 days on paid plans) before permanent deletion.
Source or seed images you upload for generation are temporary working files, not long-term storage. We retain them for about 30 days from upload, then permanently delete the upload and its storage object. Generated Library copies follow the one-year Library retention above; download anything you need to keep before either window ends.
Academy Community Content (UGC)
CodeRift Academy lets signed-in members post text, images, videos, comments, and other materials ("Community Content") inside Studio. You retain ownership of your Community Content. By posting, you grant CodeRift a non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate that content within Academy. If you leave "Allow featuring on the public Academy page" checked (or otherwise opt in), you also grant CodeRift a limited license to display that content on CodeRift marketing surfaces such as /academy. You may revoke the public featuring license at any time by unchecking the option on your post; we will stop featuring it on subsequent requests.
You are responsible for Community Content you submit. Do not post spam, harassment, illegal material, or content you do not have rights to share. CodeRift may hide, remove, or restrict Community Content and may mute or ban members who violate these terms or community standards. Flagged content may be temporarily hidden pending review. Academy media copied into our Academy storage is retained for community continuity and is separate from Studio Library media retention.
Inactive Accounts
Free accounts with no successful sign-in for 180 days may be permanently deleted after email notice at approximately 90 and 150 days of inactivity. Accounts that never complete onboarding may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity following notice at approximately 60 days. Signing in resets the inactivity period. Paid workspaces, managed client workspaces, and platform superadmin accounts are not deleted for inactivity under this policy. You are responsible for exporting any content you need before deletion. Media in Studio may also expire earlier under Studio Library Media Retention.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, CodeRift Agency retains ownership of pre-existing tools and methods, and grants clients usage rights to delivered project assets.
Usage Limits and Fair Use
Certain plans advertise "unlimited" CodeRift Studio access. Unlimited usage is subject to reasonable business-use limits. The Scale plan includes a fair use limit of 2,000 Rift Credits per month (approximately 2,000 post captions or 666 images). Excessive, automated, or abusive usage beyond this limit may result in throttled generation speeds, temporary suspension of studio access, or additional charges at our then-current studio credit rates. We reserve the right to contact clients before enforcing limits and to adjust fair use thresholds based on system capacity.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CodeRift Agency is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or services.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or services after updates means you accept the revised terms.
